Laughter Probably Isn’t The Best Medicine Says Hilarious TVC For Comedy Festival

An hilarious new TVC for Toronto’s No Refunds Comedy Festival plays on the idea that laughter probably isn’t the best medicine, particularly if you’re just moments from death.

The ad by Canadian creative agency Cossette sees a badly injured man being wheeled into a hospital triage ward.

A doctor and nurse run to the man’s aid and instead of administering drugs start administering a flood of cheesy jokes and one-liners.

Sadly, the patient can’t even be revived by a terrible knock-knock gag and carks it in the end, but the rest of us can laugh at the poor sod’s misfortune. Check out the witty spot below.
