Jim Beam Announces Global Creative Review

Beam Suntory has put the Jim Beam creative up for global review. The brand is currently handled by three global agencies including the Sydney-based independent agency The Works. The other two agencies are Mekanism in the US and Jung von Matt in Germany.

B&T contacted The Works for comment, however, they declined to make any formal comment at this stage. The Australian media buying is handled by the very small, independent agency Unity in Sydney.

The review has been announced on US industry website Adage.com and it is understood that Mekanism will not be participating in the review.

In April, The Works unveiled its global spot for the bourbon brand featuring Hollywood actress Mila Kunis.

A spokesperson for Beam Suntory told Adage: “I can confirm that we are in official review for Jim Beam’s global creative agency, which is being managed by our global marketing team out of our Deerfield, Illinois, headquarters, however, we have no other news to share at the moment.”
