Find Out Which Brands Aced Twitter In February

It might be the shortest month of the year, but February has been a big month for brands on Twitter. From Valentine’s Day to the Oscars, brands are working their magic to engage with audiences and make the most of what’s happening.

Here are the brands that generated the most engagement on Twitter in Australia during February, and their most highly engaged with Tweet for the month.

1. @Myer

In February, Myer became the first brand in Australia (and the first department in the world) to use Periscope 360 when they gave Twitter an “in the round” view of their launch of their Autumn/Winter fashion range launch. The broadcasts were a huge success, with over 200,000 viewers and 37,000 hearts.

2. @sportsbetcomau

The Mundine vs. Green fight had everyone talking on Twitter, with @sportsbetcomau getting fans ramped up ahead of the action.

3. @UniversalPicsAU

Fifty Shades Darker hit cinemas in February, with Universal Pictures promoting the film to users on Twitter.
