Dentists Are Hereos Not Money Hungry Villains Claims Witty New Ad Campaign

An amusing new campaign for US dental chain Aspen Dental attempts to portray dentists as heroes and not money-grabbing leeches as many of us would have us believe of the profession.

The campaign, by creative agency CP+B Miami, features two TVCs in which a friendly Aspen dentist saves everyone from an attempted bank robbery and an elevator stuck between floors.

Commenting on the ads, an Aspen spokesperson said: “Dentistry has long been a category tainted by fear and mistrust.

“This new campaign is designed to tackle misperceptions and pain points about dentistry, upending convention and using humour and creativity to shine the spotlight on how dentists at Aspen Dental are making dentistry easier for their patients.”
