Clems Sydney Welcomes Lilian Sor As Chief Strategy Officer

Creative agency Clemenger BBDO Sydney has announced the appointment of Lilian Sor as its new chief strategy officer.

Sor joins Clems Sydney from Grey London, where she led its 40-strong strategy team. Prior to Grey London, she was head of strategy innovation at AMV BBDO, and held roles locally at Host and Lavender.

Nick Garrett, CEO of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and Sydney, said: “I couldn’t be happier that Lilian has made the move back home and joined the team in Sydney.

“She’s undoubtedly one of Australia’s best strategic minds and has come in to not only lead the strategy department, but importantly, to make an important contribution in transforming the Sydney business in to an agency that’s fit for the future.”

Commenting on her appointment, Sor said: “It’s wonderful to be home in both Sydney and at BBDO.

“The Australian advertising industry has always been characterised as being at the forefront of innovation and creativity, and the hunger, drive and passion that I see at Clemenger with Nick, Emily and the team is standout.”
