A Choir Of Singing Vulvas Star In Glorious New Spot For Libresse

Feminine hygiene brand Libresse is once again pushing the boundaries in its creative, revealing its latest work: a three-minute celebration of the vulva!

The European brand famously broke a lot of conventions in the category when it used actual menstrual blood in a UK campaign last year.

This time around its celebrating the vulva after the company’s own research found that found half of women think theirs is “imperfect”.

The ad’s the work of creative agency MV BBDO and titled ‘Viva La Vulva’. It does a marvellous musical job at trying to dispel some of the myths and insecurities women have about their genitals and, in doing so, advertising the brand’s new intimate range of washers, liners and wipes.

Set to Camille Yarbrough’s 1975 classic Take Yo Praise, the ad features singing from a conch shell, a leaf, origami, fruit and needlework all representing the female anatomy.

It finishes with some powerful interviews of women discussing their very own “conch shells”. Check out the marvellous spot below:
