Burger King’s Latest Stunt Shows X-Rays Of Customers Who’ve Injured Themselves Eating Whoppers

Proving it’s the master of self-deprecation and, arguably, the most innovative advertiser on the planet at the moment, Burger King has unveiled its latest campaign showing X-rays of customers who’d apparently injured their jaws while eating one of the chain’s fabled Whoppers.

Created by its Brazilian agency David, the print and online campaign feature real-life X-rays of customers who sprained their jaws eating its products alongside the tagline “We warned you it was big”.

The campaign is the latest in a line – clearly aimed at its male, Millennial market – that have poked fun at the restaurant chain and its products.

In April last year, it ran another poster campaign that reportedly showed the house of a senior McDonald’s executive in the US that showed a flame grill in the person’s backyard.

While in November, it ran a series of ads showing customers who’d crashed their cars into its restaurants in an another oddball promotion for its home delivery service.
