British Comic Chabuddy G Stars In Google’s 20th Anniversary Ad Series

Google might be in strife in the UK and Europe for its tax evasion and dodgy YouTube ads, however, the tech behemoth has put the billions of dollars of fine behind it to celebrate two decades of its search function in a series of witty news ads.

Featuring ubiquitous BBC comic Chabuddy G reprising the role he reprises for every campaign he stars in, this time around he’s the UK’s first CEO of a “dial-up internet cabin café”.

The campaign’s the work of creative agency Poke and features a series of four episodes. Check out the first in the series below:
