Bravo! Awards Announces 2017 Global Awards Winners

Three Global Awards were presented to two Australian agencies at last night’s annual Bravo! Awards ceremony held in Sydney hosted by The Communications Council.

Running parallel with the Global Awards ceremony in New York, Bravo! celebrates the world’s best healthcare advertising, recognising the outstanding talent and achievements from the Asia pacific region.

A total of 43 Global Awards were delivered internationally, with the “Grand Global Award” presented to MCCANN HEALTH India – “The Immunity Charm for Ministry of Public Health, Afghanistan – Category Devices”.

Agency of the Year was awarded to Area 23, and Network of the Year went to FCB Health Network.

Australian 2017 Global Award winners included greyhealth Australia / Sudler Sydney (pictured above), for their campaign Living Nightmare in the Pain Management category, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness Sydney for Protected Wallet in the Complimentary & Alternative Medicine category, and another for Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness Sydney this time in the Illustration category for its campaign Blown out of action.

“This is an extremely important event in ensuring quality healthcare advertising from our region continues to be recognised on a global stage,” Tony Hale CEO of The Communications Council said.

The Bravo Awards are made possible with thanks to the dedicated Bravo Committee Chaired by Craig Chester (Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness) who took over from the long standing founder and Chair of nine years, June Laffey (McCann Health) who was recognised last night for her dedication and leadership over this period.
