Bras N Things Model Hits Back At “Offensive Prudes” Who Got Her Ad Banned

The men of the B&T office may argue it’s a win for sanity and now the model who starred in the banned Bras N Things ad has hit back at her detractors calling those who had it removed a pack of prudes.

The model, 22-year old blonde Simone Holtznagel, has unloaded in her Instagram post on those who had the ad banned. “Shout out to the prude who complained about my ‘vulgar’ and ‘amateur porn’ advertisement for the amazing Australian brand Bras N Things, and had the clip banned,” she moaned.

The offending ad, for the underwear chain’s Playboy range, was played inside stores and allegedly received a number of complaints to the Ad Standards Board who agreed it was inappropriate to play in a shopping centre environment and did “not treat the issue of sex, sexuality and nudity with sensitivity to the relevant audience.”

According to an article on News.com.au, Holtznagel is a professional model from Wollongong south of Sydney who has modelled lingerie for the likes of Guess and the Aussie label Wheels & Dollbaby.

She added on Instagram:”“How dare you sexualise my body. How dare- after all society’s requests, you take a confident and carefree depiction of a normal, healthy womanly body, promoting women’s products to women, and deem it offensive. Do not impress your insecurities on me, whether physical or sexual.

“I shall continue on in being fearlessly me and embracing my curves and my confidence, and I encourage all women to do the same – and if that’s so wrong then I don’t want to be right,” she wrote.
