Australian Defence Force Recruiting Gears Up To Pitch Creative & Digital Account

The federal government’s Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) division is all set to pitch its creative and digital account, after kicked off a tender process for a pitch consultant.

According to a notice posted on the government’s AusTender website, DFR is searching for a strategic marketing adviser “to provide specialist advice and support throughout a procurement process to be conducted by DFR for an agency to deliver creative advertising and digital services”.

Host/Havas currently holds the account, having won it in 2013 as Havas Worldwide after being in the hands of GPY&R for more than a decade.

Havas was behind the Defence Force’s big campaign push to recruit more women for the military last year.

The contracted requirement for DFR’s pitch consultant is expected to commence on 27 November 2017, and to continue for a period of 12 months. The application date for the pitch consulting role closes on Friday 10 November.
