Atomic 212° Announces A Whopping 10 New Hires

Aussie creative media agency Atomic 212° has strengthened its creative, strategy and innovation teams with 10 new hires in its Sydney office.

The new staffers have been brought on board amidst a raft of new business wins at the agency, including Lendlease and Nespresso.

Atomic has lured a number of generalists and specialists from its multinational competitors, bolstering its capabilities across media planning and buying, creative development, marketing technology and complex analytics.

Cassandra Do Carmo (pictured above, left) is among the new hires, who has joined Atomic’s ranks from Vizeum as strategist. She will work as a protégé to Atomic’s chief strategy officer Ben Taylor, who made the swap from Vizeum some months back.

Pauline Smyth (pictured above, right) has also been brought on board as media manager, after more than four years at MediaCom’s Edinburgh and Sydney offices.

Atomic has welcomed Josh Bone (pictured above, far right) as client lead for the agency’s newest business win, Lendlease. Josh has previously worked major multinationals like OMD.

Bone has been in the industry for just under a decade, working on major accounts like Village Roadshow, Adidas and Samsung.

Meanwhile, UK digital and PR expert Joshua Dishman (pictured above, far left) has been brought on board as PR and social media lead. Dishman has joined from the UK, where he worked for OMD EMEA, Grapevine Digital and Shine Communications.

Jason Dooris, CEO of Atomic, said: “These hires are yet another example of strong culture leading to strong business results leading to strong hires, which in turn leads to an even stronger culture.

“In all seriousness, people this impressive don’t come along every day and they have the power to catapult the business. We take great pride in our diversity. Our staff are our greatest asset and we are quick to celebrate their successes.

“From 30 Under 30 winner Ashleigh Hall, through to the agency being ranked third highest media agency in the world by WARC… I am surrounded by incredible talent. It’s very humbling.”

The hires follow Atomic’s appointment of ECD Jonas Lembke and four new hires for its Melbourne office.
