ALDI’s Annoying American Family Are Back In String Of New Spots

ALDI launched its Christmas campaign recently, featuring an irritatingly American family known as ‘The Tinkletons’, who were out to prove that a wintery US Christmas beats an Aussie one any day.

But through some clever persuasion by the laidback Aussies – with the help of ALDI’s tasty produce – the Tinkletons were soon convinced otherwise.

In these new ads, ‘The Tinkletons’ now celebrate ALDI’s luxury range of delicious tiger prawns, champagne pudding, mince pies, half leg hams, turkey breast roast and much more.

It comes just days after Woolies chief executive Brad Banducci admitted the fresh food people weren’t prepared for the disruptive forces of ALDI and didn’t give them the nod of respect they deserve.
