Restructure for ghg Australia

Health-focused agency ghg Australia has announced a restructure as managing director Elly Price returns to the UK with ghg London.

The full statement:

ghg Australia has grown dramatically in the last 5 years, and is now building for further growth in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Originally a small specialist medical-focused agency, ghg has seen over 200% growth in revenues with communication services and channels now including the whole gamut of health audiences – from consumer to patients to pharmacists, nurses and doctors.

Excitingly, this regional expansion sees the introduction of a new senior management structure of joint Managing Partners – Tim Brierley and Charles Huntington. They will report in to ghg’s NYbased CEO, Lynn Vos and be responsible for building the already burgeoning regional business on ghg’s books.

Tim is currently ghg Australia’s Creative Director and will build this role further to oversee creative and communications excellence for our expanding service offerings regionally. Tim is one of the healthcare industry’s most highly-awarded creatives and his new role will see ghg take AsiaPac healthcare creative communications even further. Brierley says “Asia is such a dynamic and fastpaced region and understanding each country’s nuances and differences makes for an exciting challenge.”

Huntington returns to ghg after a 2 year stint at URSAClemenger to lead and further develop the business direction for the agency. He says “ghg have shown that there’s masses of opportunity for growth in the health market and my new role of continuing the great work developed for current clients whilst pushing the business further into ANZ and Asia is a brilliant challenge”.

Elly Price, ghg Australia’s current Managing Director is returning to the UK to take up a country

Director role for ghg London. She has been involved with the immense growth of ghg since 2009 and is confident that the new senior team will bring a renewed energy and opportunity to the agency.

Price says “We are extremely fortunate to have Charles returning to ghg. He’s a great business builder and his expertise in consumer health will stand ghg in good stead for the future years“.

She adds “Tim’s diligence and attention to detail as a Creative Director is pretty unique in the business and his expanded role, both in Australia and regionally, will be a huge asset as clients see him continuing to deliver top-rated and highly awarded campaigns year after year”. “I look forward to continuing my relationship with our fantastic Australian team and help them build further over the coming years”.
