QEnergy appoints Engine Group

Brisbane independent agency Engine is rounding off 2012 with a national client win.

National energy retailer QEnergy has appointed Engine to its integrated advertising and communications account, following a tender process and then a four-way creative pitch.

QEnergy is a business electricity retailer, specialising in small and medium-sized businesses. The company’s headquarters are in Brisbane and it has clients across Australia.

Tim Weger (pictured), managing director at Engine, said: “QEnergy is a privately owned and operated Australian electricity retailer specialising in providing businesses cost-effective ways to save on their electricity bills. They have a compelling product and have achieved serious growth in a very short timeframe.

“It was evident from our first meeting that the chemistry was right and there was a perfect alignment of values. We are very much looking forward to helping them build on the base they’ve already created with results-orientated campaigns and communications.

“Picking up a national piece of business was a lovely Christmas present for the Engine team and a perfect way to sign off 2012.”

Engine’s first work for QEnergy will launch in early 2013.
