NSW public purse opens again

A new pre-qualification scheme for creative advertising and communications services has been established by the NSW Government.

Covering creative advertising services and digital services, the work is expected to relate to public awareness advertising, which usually runs over a sustained period to encourage changed behaviour and raise community awareness. Past examples include public health campaigns relating to health and road safety such as the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption and drink driving.

Managed by the Department of Premier and Cabinet's Strategic Communications branch, the scheme will provide the government with access to an array of expertise and experience in advertising and digital communications, through a panel of pre-qualified service providers. It will cover the activities common across customers that make up the bulk of the government's spend on marketing services.

Pre-qualification will cover the period from now until 30 June 2015. Submissions will be accepted until 28 April.

To apply for pre-qualification under the scheme, please visit the NSW Government's eTendering website.
