Mother's energetic campaign with Call of Duty

Energy drink Mother has teamed up with gamers’ favourite Call of Duty for a campaign ahead of the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Eighties action hero Dolph Lundgren has been enlisted by Mother to put a call out to recruit an Aussie Call of Duty fan and three of their mates.

The winner will take part in a “top secret rescue op mission” in November.

The campaign features on-pack promotions, two 15-second TV and cinema ads, out-of-home, digital, media partnerships with IGN, Machinima and Fox Sports, as well as interactive POS displays where fans can get their photo taken with Dolph Lundgren.

Mother marketing manager Steven Ruhl said: “Everyone loves the iconic Call of Duty gaming franchise and Mother is excited to partner with it for the latest release, Call of Duty: Ghosts. The partnership brings together two of the greatest passions for Aussie blokes – gaming and the Mother of an energy hit they need to power through the day and night.”

Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch in November.
