Host showcases the extraordinary for Tourism WA

Sydney agency Host has created two films for Tourism Western Australia to highlight the impact that visiting the state’s unusual landscape can have on people.

Host appointed creative collective The Glue Society to write and direct the films, which will be shown on TV and in cinemas across Australia from today.

The South West film shows a young couple on a journey through the diverse region’s rugged coastlines, wild beaches, vineyards, caves and ranges.

The North West film shows an older couple travelling through the Kimberley region.

Suzie Shaw, CEO at Host, said: “Persuading consumers to travel to a destination that is perceived to be both costly and a great distance away requires strong, emotional advertising, and testing results indicate that the films are unique, compelling and will inspire travel to WA.”
