Host hires Droga's Gary Clarke

Host has made another creative appointment with Droga 5’s Gary Clarke to join the agency and head up its creative services.

In his new role as Host creative services manager Clarke will support joint ECDs Bob Mackintosh and recent hire Julian Watt.

Mackintosh said: “As our department grows, we wanted an experienced creative services manager to help us create the right working environment to enable our teams to do their best work without distractions. Gary’s worked at many of the best agencies in town and joins us with impeccable credentials.”

Clarke has led Droga 5’s creative traffic department since 2010 after three years as head of creative services at Leo Burnett Sydney.

Clarke added: “Host has long been regarded as one of Australia’s most innovative creative agencies and it was an opportunity I felt I had to grab with both hands.”
