Copywriters outside of big agencies on offer at Apostrophe

Former DDB copywriters Stefanie Digianvincenzo and Crystal Fong have created what they described as “Melbourne’s first copywriting collective” dubbed Apostrophe Copywriters.

Apostrophe has picked up work for Garnier, Adidas, Old Spice and the launch of the new Wolverine Movie with the agency set to shortly celebrate its first year.

Fong (pictured right) said Apostrophe, which already consists of 12 copywriters, was born to “meet an increasing demand for quality writers outside a big agency structure”.

“We’re here to challenge brands to push the boundaries when communicating to their audiences – whether that be on social media, billboards, radio or something more unconventional,” Fong said.

Digianvincenzo (pictured left) added: “We are a group of approachable copywriters that come to the table with a coffee in hand and a desire to work with various industries and specialists from design and digital agencies, to brand managers, PR firms and like-minded start-ups that are defining their own categories.”
