Aegis' creates full-service Huckleberry

Aegis Media has created a full service media and digital creative shop, Huckleberry, by merging staff  from its former Havas Media outfit with creative digital agency Rodeo.

The launch comes as Havas Media Group today announced local operations, bringing an end to Aegis Media’s use of the Havas Media brand in Australia.

Huckleberry launches today with 60 staff in Melbourne with Melissa Roberts (pictured top) as managing director of media and Aaron Tobin (pictured below) as MD of creative.

Roberts said the merger has created one fully integrated full service offering in Huckleberry.

“It’s important to note that we will continue to work with other agency partners both inside Aegis Media and externally, continuing the strong industry relationships that we have in place.”

Tobin added: “This is a great opportunity to build on our collective service offering for clients, creating a business with the skill set to deliver complete communications solutions, right from insight to delivery to market.”

The joint MDs will report to Aegis Media’s ANZ chief executive Luke Littlefield with executive support from David Stephenson, CEO of creative services.
