ADMA Appoints Three New Board Members

The Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has announced that Paul Robson, Adobe, Roger Sniezek, Coles, and Dr. Catriona Wallace, Flamingo Customer Experience Inc. have been appointed to the ADMA Board of Directors.

“It is imperative to ensure that our Board is populated by leading authorities in ADMA’s five pillars of data, content, creativity, technology and customer in order to effectively advocate for our growing membership from across the marketing and advertising spectrum”, said Jodie Sangster, CEO ADMA.

“Our three new members are some of Australia’s most respected experts in the fields of technology, marketing, data and customer experience and will complement our dynamic and active Board.”

Paul Robson is President of Adobe Asia Pacific and a respected leader in driving digital business transformation across the region in order to support excellence in customer experience. Prior to joining Adobe, Paul was the Vice President and General Manager for HP’s Networking Division across Asia Pacific and Japan and was the founding director of successful start-up, Wedding Gifts Direct. He is a non-executive board member of Tresillian.

“We live in a time where creating exceptional customer experiences across all touchpoints is everything. Australian businesses have an opportunity to embrace transformation and engage with their customers on a level that was never before possible.  I’m delighted to be joining the ADMA Board to reinforce the strong partnership it offers to businesses that are seeking to innovate and develop their business systems and operations,” said Robson.

Roger Sniezek is Digital and Financial Services Director, Coles where he is responsible for leading the IT, Financial Services and flybuys team. Instrumental in Coles’ continued evolution towards more personalised customer marketing, Roger is a veteran in managing a number of international loyalty programs, including the launch of the UK’s largest loyalty program, Nectar.

“Advances in technology and data capabilities are moving the marketing industry closer to a truly personalised customer experience. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience in this area to the ADMA Board in order to help marketers and advertisers ensure best practice in the responsible use of customer data,” said Sniezek.

Dr. Catriona Wallace is the Founder and CEO of customer personalisation software company Flamingo. Originally Australian-based, Flamingo is now based out of Silicon Valley, with offices in LA, NYC and Sydney. Recently awarded the Pearcey Foundation Tech Entrepreneurs Award, inducted into the Australian Business Women’s Hall of Fame and a Telstra Business Award winner, Catriona is regarded as one of the world’s leading thinkers on customer experience and innovation. She also founded ACA Research, Fifth Quadrant and The Ventura Women’s Co-working space.

“As a serial entrepreneur who has experienced the challenges and opportunities that small businesses and start-ups face in Australia, I will be bringing my perspective to how ADMA can help similar organisations navigate the data-driven marketing landscape with a focus on creating a dynamic customer experience,” said Dr. Wallace.

Outgoing members are David Bowie, SAS, Andy Pontin, BDDO Clemenger Sydney and Damian Eales, News Corp.
