Adidas Calls In Kermit The Frog & Stan Smith As It Amps Up Its Green Credentials

German sportswear giant Adidas is the latest brand to try and play in the green space, unveiling a recycled version of its classic Stan Smith tennis shoe.

And who greener to front the campaign than the always-green Kermit The Frog.

Accompanying Kermit, is the man who gave his name to the shoe, American tennis legend, the 74-year-old Stan Smith, who also makes a cameo.

The at times confusing spot also sees appearances by actress Yara Shahidi, skateboarder Nora Vasconcellos and technologist Iddris Sandu.

New York creative agency Johannes Leonardo was responsible for the work, which you can check out below:

Adidas has also announced it has teamed-up with Disney to release a Disney-Stan Smith sustainable collection. The Kermit variety apparently the first to debut in the range.
