Adam&EveDDB Launches ‘Don’t F**k My Future’ Campaign

Global advertising agency Adam&EveDDB has temed up with a bunch of UK celebrities, including Keira Knightley and Lily Cole, for a campaign to mobilise young people to vote in the EU Referendum on 23rd June.

According to market research firm Ipsos Mori, only 43 per cent of Brits aged 18 to 24 voted in the 2015 election, compared to 78 per cent of eligible voters over 65.

The campaign is playful with each celebrity performing an activity that takes five seconds, whilst delivering the message: ‘Don’t let others f**k with your future’. Adam&EveDDB CEO James Murphy said: “It was the young guys who came up with it. For them, it feels like a lot of older people are going to decide their future. It’s a simple way of expressing passion.”

Actress Lily Cole added: “I was concerned to see how low the voter turnout  levels are anticipated to be amongst young people, who will arguably be most affected by this decision. I’ve also been frustrated by the divisive and negative nature of much of the campaigning… So we wanted to do a neutral and positive campaign to encourage people to get involved, and make their opinions known.”
