Four months ago Volley launched its ‘Grass Roots’ campaign in partnership with Ansell condoms which featured plenty of naked and semi-clad models, both heterosexual and homosexual couples. Yesterday, the Australian Christian Lobby’s (ACL) Queensland director, Wendy Francis found out about the campaign and she wasn’t impressed.
“Our campaign is all about the celebration of sexual expression whilst remembering to stay safe,” the campaign states. “For this reason we’ve joined arms with Ansell condoms in support of safe sex, as whilst we’re all about rooting, we believe in ‘safety first’. So stay safe this summer and root for us, root for change, root for VOLLEY.”
Here’s just a few pictures from the #GrassRoots campaign:
Francis slammed Volley saying it’s now “all about rooting”. Check out the tweet:
Parents be aware Dunlop Volley still sell sandshoes for school kids, but their website has R rated images as they’re now “all about rooting”

People are going bonkers over the “all about rooting” bit of the tweet:
the ACL is worried about the “R rated images” on this Dunlop campaign about safe sex. Do NOT share these images, repeat DO NOT pic.twitter.com/SZFy5rt9GN

@wendyjoyfrancis Y’know Jesus said the same amount about safe sex & gayness as he did about sports shoes… Absolutely nothing.
