AC&E And AMY Awards Finalists Revealed

After some intense judging in recent weeks, finalists in both the AC&E Awards and AMY Awards were announced this morning.

The winners of both awards will be revealed at a Gala Awards Dinner on 24th October at the Star in Sydney.

This is the first time the Awards will be held on the same night under the same roof.

The AC&E Awards celebrate the brilliant work of individuals, agencies and brands, showcasing how they leverage the combined power of strategy and creativity to deliver effectiveness.

Over 80 industry leaders contributed to the judging process for the AC&E Awards, with Ogilvy, BMF, Adrenalin and Newscorp leading the charge with the most finalist’s nominations.

Ogilvy has been shortlisted for 12 Awards, and BMF an impressive six finalists’ nominations.

On the client side, KFC is nominated for nine Awards with Aldi following closely behind with six nominations. There are 30 Awards on offer in this year’s program.

“We have seen some brilliant work this year, with many categories hotly contested. Congratulations to all the finalists. It really is a great achievement to have got this far,” said Stuart Tucker, awards judge and chief customer officer, Hipages.

To add to the celebrations, the AMY Awards will recognise digital brilliance after 34 judges came together to shortlist the very best work from the past year.

Receiving the most nominations were Adrenalin, G Squared and Hungry Jack’s with over 40 unique campaigns recognised in the group of finalists.

“What a process! We have been excited by the breadth of submissions this year. The work is great, and I am really looking forward to the work being showcased at the Awards dinner in October,” said Liz Fowler, awards judge and head of strategy and customer experience, Aussie.
