Cricket Australia fans will be able to watch the Ashes Test Series on their computers, tablets and mobile phones through a new app.
Cricket Australia has awarded Accenture a five-year contract to build and deploy live streaming and subscription management services to supports its digital broadcast offering.
Deployed on Telstra’s Cloud Infrastructure, the ‘Cricket Australia Live: The Official App’ is now available to download.
Ben Amarfio, Cricket Australia’s executive general manager of media, communications and marketing, said: “Given the huge demand for tickets to this summer’s matches, we know cricket lovers are eagerly awaiting the start of the season. While nothing quite compares to being at a match live, users of the app and the subscription streaming service will still be able to catch all of the cricket action wherever they may be.”

Designed with fans in mind, this innovative service will allow Cricket Australia subscribers to enjoy high quality streaming.”
