We’ve seen plenty of faux pas in the world of live TV over the years, but a surprise photobomb in Melbourne last night could take the cake.
ABC journalist Richard Willingham was reporting live from the streets of Melbourne, following the Victorian government’s recently released 2021 budget.
Willingham was doing his best to outline how the latest state budget might look for Victorians, when unbeknownst to him, a giant portable billboard for a local gentlemen’s club drove behind him.
The billboard for Melbourne’s Spearmint Rhino was promoting free entry for the evening’s entertainment.
You can watch the hilarity unfold here.

Of course, the misfortune of Willingham’s live cross soon filtered through Twitter, with some suggesting the billboard’s driver might have sought out the camera.
Give that driver a biscuit

Who of us hasn't said at some stage…"I think I'll watch ABC News, then catch a strip show."

I suppose ABC needs to get their money however they can now with the budget cuts.
