The ABC Network has called the police after Tony Armstrong has been racially abused via email.
Armstrong took to Twitter after receiving a disgusting email and wrote, “This shit has gotta stop,” And then revealed snippets of a vile and racist email he had received via his work email address.
He also added this abuse wouldn’t stop him from, “speaking up or stepping up.”

The Sydney Morning Herald has confirmed That the ABC has referred the matter to the police.
SMH also reported that the director of news, Justin Stevens said: “Racist harassment is sickening.
“Our journalists should not be attacked or subjected to abuse for doing their jobs.
“The ABC is taking a range of actions to support Tony Armstrong, including referring the matter to police.”
The email came after Armstrong was on The Project and he called out Gina Rinehart for pulling out of a $15 million sponsorship deal with Netball Australia.
