Arguably much like coriander, tofu falls into one of two direct camps – those who adore the mushy white brick and those who’d rather run a mile from it.
So it’s hats off to UK brand The Tofoo Co for having some real fun with the fermented soya bean curd in a surprising new spot.
Called “Like Nothing Else”, the ad stars a drag queen who’s outlandish outfits are only surpassed by an array of tasty looking Toofoo dishes who finishes by asking: “What? Never seen Tofoo before?”
The spot’s the work of London creative agency Who Wot Why and was directed by Jade Ang Jackman who started her career as a documentary maker before shifting to ad work.
