The #Australianhasfallen started by anti lockdown supporters has been taken over by pro lockdown social media users.
Currently, most Australians are in lockdown thanks to the Delta variant of COVID-19. However, some people aren’t pleased with the government precautions and have taken to social media with the #Australianhasfallen.
However, the call to arms has been hijacked by pro lockdown Australians who are now using the hashtag to share photos of cute animals.
Ironically it wasn’t even an Australian that started the original hashtag but rather Amber Smith an American Trump supporter, who tweeted.

Still, Australia has dealt with multiple lockdown protests in the last month, and the tweet quickly gained traction online.
However, Smith wasn’t met with a barrage of support from anti-locked down supporters but rather her hashtag was successfully trolled.
The hashtag was soon taken over by Twitter users that believe in the lockdowns and they used it to share adorable photos of animals.
Here at B&T, we can’t think of a cuter way to troll someone.

Interestingly, while Smith tweets that Australia has fallen, America has attributed over 600,000 thousand deaths to COVID-19.
While Australia only attributes under a thousand deaths to the highly infectious disease – which could be because Australia has been locking down.
