So yesterday we had the dueling I’m quitting/we’re hiring YouTube kerfuffle. Today it’s who gets the last laugh when a publicist turns a journalist down for an interview.

French Canadian journalist Catherine Beauchamp posted the video of Bryna Rifkin of ID-PR, the publicist and red carpet handler for Marion Cotillard as well as Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Jennifer Lawrence, turning nasty at the Toronto Film Festival.

The end result, of course, was Beauchamp didn’t get her interview and Rifkin has become an overnight sensation for all the wrong reasons.
