Healthdirect Australia – the government-funded medical helpline service – has awarded its creative account to Sydney-based agency Workshop, and media planning and buying to Bohemia, after a tender.
Healthdirect, (the trading name for the National Health Call Centre Network), is jointly funded by federal, state and territory governments and provides nationwide access 24 hours a day, seven days a week to healthcare triage, health advice and health information without geographic restrictions.
Workshop is preparing to launch a communications program that includes strategy development, creative and multi-channel implementation to reach a national audience.
Michelle Wade, senior marketing manager for Healthdirect Australia said: “Workshop won because the agency demonstrated deep understanding of the challenges in connecting with our many and varied audiences, clear insights into how those challenges could be met and the creativity to bring those insights to life in multi-media.”
Jamie Kwong, Workshop principal, said: “The mission and quality of Healthdirect Australia’s work impacted on us from the outset. We recognised strong synergies in what the client team needed in their communications and what we as an agency would effectively deliver. We’re looking forward to building a strong and successful partnership together."
Healthdirect Australia’s portfolio includes Mindhealthconnect, Pregnancy, Birth and Baby, Healthdirect Australia and Healthinsite, the After hours GP helpline and the National Health Services Directory.
