Vizeum Sydney has appointed Jane Clinch to the newly created role of digital director.
Clinch joins the agency having previously work at both News Limited and Fairfax, and has been charged with driving the digital product forward for Vizeum Sydney.
She will be working across Vizeum’s full client portfolio which includes brands such as Peugeot, Red Bull, Carnival Cruises, Accor, as well as the agency’s most recent win, Pernod Ricard.
Clinch said: “As the impact of digital grows and evolves from strategy to implementation, I look forward to focusing on innovations and trends in a dynamic and ever changing industry. With their talented team and focus on strategic thinking, I am very excited to join and be a part of the great work happening at Vizeum.”
Vizeum Sydney’s general manager, Nick Behr, added: “Jane’s role will pull together our already strong digital competencies and ensure that we remain at the forefront of all things digital. She comes to us with a clear understanding of the business and its objectives; with rounded experience from both agency and media roles.”
Meanwhile, Emily Bosler, former head of digital at the agency, has been promoted to business director and will be managing the Pernod Ricard account.
It’s been a busy few weeks for Vizeum. Last week, it opened its third office, this time launching in Perth,
while after a list of recent successes and new clients, the agencyhired Wade Kingsley as its new head of business. Last month, Electronics brand Hitachi appointed Vizeum its local media planning and buying agency.
