Val Morgan’s digital out-of-home business has won exclusive rights to TAB Corp’s digital media network in Victoria.
TAB’s network includes 1,240 digital screens in more than 620 venues, from street-facing locations in TAB locations to screens in pubs and clubs.
The deal will see content including TAB messages and third-party advertising displayed on the screens. It increases Val Morgan Outdoor’s digital footprint to more than 3,000 screens.
Val Morgan has also been awarded the rights to ‘squeeze backs’ (side and bottom panels) around the Sky2 racing feed in 2,800 venues across New South Wales and Victoria.
Anthony Deeble, managing director of Val Morgan Outdoor, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the media representation for TAB Corp’s digital media assets and to make this unique digital network available to advertisers for the first time.
“The media assets are fully networked and linked to deliver content in real time. This provides advertisers dynamic access to a cumulative audience of 2.4 million Victorians each month. Importantly, these are active consumers with high disposable incomes, who are out of home and with money to spend.”
Glenn Lee, general manager of marketing communications at TAB Corp, added: “We know our customers very well. The network will open up previously closed marketing opportunities that wouldn’t otherwise be available to likeminded brands.
“We are excited to partner with Val Morgan Outdoor as leaders in this fast emerging media channel. In future we will look to grow the network further in New South Wales and Queensland over time, making it one of the largest digital out-of-home networks in the country.”
