The finalists for this year’s media Federation Australia awards have been announced, with UM and MEC leading the way with nominations.

This year 160 judges pored over the entries from the brightest and best of the media industry to select the 48 contenders battling it out in 12 categories – with the overall winner decided by major sponsor Seven RED.

UM has 12 nominations across the categories, with a number for McDonald’s work, while MEC has picked up ninenods, the best performer of the GroupM agencies.

Greg Graham, MFA Awards vice chairman said: “Once again the quality of the entries this year was outstanding and a real celebration of enterprising work. It was great to see a range of entries breaking new frontiers and delivering superior client results.”
