Sponsorship, activations and content agency Ensemble has made two senior appointments with a new general manager for Melbourne.

Ben Edmonds has been promoted to general manager of Ensemble’s growing Melbourne operations.

He will report to national CEO Justin Ricketts and managing director Tim Hodgson.

Edmonds has been with Ensemble for a year after moving from his communications director at OMD Fuse.

Joining the specialist agency in a national role is Southern Cross Austereo’s Corey Layton as creative strategy director.

Layton will also be based in Melbourne and brings the office’s newly formed creative strategy unit to five.

“These two appointments accelerate the quality and speed of our client responses and are important additions to our national growth,” Ricketts said. “Corey Layton is highly respected in the industry and Ben Edmonds is a proven talent who is highly valuable to us.”
