Shoppers may soon see supermarket floors glowing with digital messages thanks to TorchMedia.
The animated floor innovation is being used to project a digital brand message on the floor in front of its products to grab customer attention.
The new motion format is being used as a tool for brands to cut through the environment and achieve greater shopper engagement.
TorchMedia’s general manager of marketing and commercial, Kirsty Dollisson, says the new format is a different way to communicate with customers in-store.
“Part of Torch’s initiatives is to bring in-store innovations to shopper marketing,” she said.
“We are always looking at new ways to bring brands to life at the shelf, both in Australia and overseas.”
The format is currently being trialled in select stores across NSW but is expected to soon be a permanent offering to TorchMedia’s services.
