EXCLUSIVE: Creative agency Tongue has been appointed by Jupi Corporation after a worldwide pitch.
Jupi Corporation, operated from LA by Australian fashion entrepreneur Bruno Schiavi, holds the master licence agreement for the Kardashian’s fashion projects, including the Kardashian Kollection.
The creative account was contested over the last few months with agencies pitching from the UK, US and Australia. Tongue will work across the Kardashian’s growing fashion interests with Jupi Corporation globally.
The agency will be responsible for brand strategy, creative and special projects. Their first project is to deliver the Kardashian Kollection’s first Australian fashion show at the Mercedes fashion festival tomorrow night.
Schiavi, president of Jupi Corporation, said: “As a proud Australian it’s great to see Australian talent pitch against the best of Europe and America and triumph. Tongue responded to our brief with a big conceptual message from start to finish and we loved it. The Kardashian sisters and I have big plans for the future and the team at Tongue are perfectly skilled to act as our creative partners to realise this vision.”
Jonathan Pease, managing partner of Tongue, added: “It’s great to work with brands that are part of popular culture. Bruno and the girls are brilliant at what they do and we look forward to doing big things with the team. The appointment is effective immediately with work already being created for both the domestic and international markets."
