Tongue gets the nod from Cisco

EXCLUSIVE: Tongue has been hired by technology giant Cisco to lead its strategy and creative duties in Australia and New Zealand.

Tongue, part of the STW Group, won a four-way competitive pitch for the business and has been tasked with leading Cisco ANZ’s planning and creative execution of integrated marketing campaigns on both sides of the Tasman.

Tim Sexton, managing partner at Tongue, told B&T: “Cisco is a leading technology business that loves big integrated ideas. The world is changing fast and it is great to work with a business that has the power to shape the world’s digital future.”

Suzanne Hansen, director of marketing at Cisco ANZ, added: “We have been working through a review of agencies to identify the best agency to help us take our Internet of Everything value proposition to market in a meaningful way to Australia and New Zealand.  With their ability to deliver a fully integrated localised campaign, we believe that Tongue is a good cultural fit and will suit our transforming marketing team.”

Tongue will handle the business from its Sydney office.

In March, WiTH Collective was brought on board by Cisco as its digital agency in Australia and New Zealand.
