The Works has unveiled its first major campaign for specialty grocer Thomas Dux in the form of a Pinterest Advent Calendar.
The food-inspired countdown, which operates exclusively via the social media platform, reveals a treat for its fans each day – like recipes, tips and in-store tastings.
But the campaign will also be promoted via Facebook, Twitter and on selected News Limited and Fairfax websites.
Paul Swann, creative partner at The Works, said: “It’s a simple idea but one that effectively demonstrates Thomas Dux’s specialty offer and Pinterest is ideal to bring it to life.”
Janine Keeffe, head of Thomas Dux, added: “We use Pinterest extensively to showcase our products but this is the first time we have used it to mount an ongoing campaign.”
“It’s the perfect social media platform for this and we hope that consumers take advantage of it.”
