Susie Hunt named FutureBrand's Asia Pac chair

Interpublic Group’s global brand consultancy FutureBrand has appointed Susie Hunt as chair of its Asia Pacific operations, with responsibility for its Melbourne and Sydney agencies among others.

Hunt will step up to her new role in May and will combine it with her current HuntHaggarty responsibilities including senior marketing advisory roles for brands such as Revlon in India.

HuntHaggarty is a brand experience consultancy Hunt co-founded. The firm is headquartered in Singapore and London and counts Google, Dell, Coca Cola, Unilever, Nokia and Cathay Pacific Airways as clients.

Patrick Smith, CEO at FutureBrand, said: “Susie’s wealth of both global and regional experience and her proven capabilities in leadership roles make her the ideal Chairman for us.”

“This position and its particular responsibilities have been created to better deliver FutureBrand’s company vision in the region, raise our profile and build on the success of work for clients such as Fiji Airways, which recently won the Rebrand 100 and Brand Impact awards.”

Hunt, who once was Asia Pacific regional director at Enterprise IG and communications planning director at JWT Sydney, added: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to join FutureBrand as Chairman for Asia Pacific. FutureBrand’s strategic point of view on branding and skills are highly relevant to this exciting region and I look forward to working with the team and our clients here for shared success.”
