Starcom has been appointed to handle the media business for Medtronic Diabetes Australia and has launched the brand’s first consumer-facing digital campaign in Australia.
The campaign is aimed towards people with Type 1 diabetes to educate and inform them of the MiniMed Veo Insulin Pump, a pump which can replace multiple daily insulin injections.
Starcom developed the digital strategy in order to direct users to the campaign’s website.
“We were impressed with Starcom’s ability to address the very specific needs we have for our products and we’re very excited to be launching this campaign,” Medtronic Diabetes Australia patient brand manager, Jane Lester, said.
The website includes four spots from people with diabetes. Check out one of them below focusing on two-year-old Shiloh.
