St.George Bank will launch two new TVCs this Sunday following up on its Start Something campaign.

Developed by Saatchi & Saatchi, the first ad focuses on a young girl dressed in a dragon suit talking of her plans to own a motorbike, and encouraging the audience to start saving for their own goals.

In the second, the girl encourages audiences to start the small business they’ve been wishfully developing as she mans her water-balloon business.

St.George’s general manager of strategy, marketing and customer experience, Martine Jager said: “With the launch of our successful Start Something brand campaign in May this year, we’re now looking to build on our connections with customers for the things that matter most to them.

"The TVCs tap into the insight of us all wanting to save more, start that business that has always been in the back of our minds, or start growing your business. We want to help people start doing whatever it is they really want to do,” said Ms Jager.

St.George’s ‘Start Something’ campaign has achieved high levels of brand recognition and the recent housing TVC has also seen 78% of viewers in the first home buyer market consider St.George home loans, versus a financial institution average of 23%.
