Southern Comfort has launched a stylish follow-up spot in its acclaimed ‘Whatever’s Comfortable’ campaign, this time featuring a man having his hair washed by a hairdresser called ‘Shampoo’.
Set to the soulful sounds of Lou Johnson’s ‘The Beat’ the slow-burning minute-long TVC only features the product in the last ten seconds, and was created by Weiden + Kennedy New York, and will start on Australian screens from Sunday.
It is a sequel to the acclaimed ‘Beach’ spot, which features a continuous shot of a husky older gentleman strutting down a beach in a pair of budgie smugglers, followed by a dog, celebrating his self-confidence and unique style.
That picked up Gold Lions in Film and Film Craft at this year's Cannes.
A local adaptation of the spots by Naked Communications, 'Popping', saw a man who could not stop body popping eventually finding love at a party with the Brown Forman drink.
