Seven wins for 2013

Seven has come out on top with the highest total combined share for 2013, according to audience measuring company, Oztam.

With a share of 30.6%, narrowly beating out Nine’s 28.3%, Seven’s My Kitchen Rules finale brought in the most viewers with around 3.25 million tuning in to the announcement of the winner.

Reality TV seemed to be a trend with Aussies last year as the second most watched show was the finale of Nine’s The Block, with just over three million, and reality TV and sport were the only two style shows within the top 20 shows last year

Unfortunately none of Ten’s, ABC’s or SBS’s shows managed to grab a place in the top 20 as Seven and Nine dominated the results.

ABC came in third with a total combined share of 18.1%, Ten fourth with 17.3%, and SBS fell behind with 5.6%.
