Second phase of Keep Holly Dancing launches

The second stage of the fundraising ‘Keep Holly Dancing’ campaign has been revealed with The Works encouraging donations by teasing audiences with sections of a dance.

The Sydney Dance Company campaign aims to raise $100,000 so young contemporary dancer, 19-year old Holly Doyle, can take part in the school’s inaugural scholarship program, A Year of the Wharf.

The latest stage sees sections of Doyle’s choreographed dance unveiled only when donation targets are met.

Douglas Nicol, creative partner and director at The Works, said: “Holly is a great talent whose future is in jeopardy unless she gets financial support. We hit on the idea of using crowd funding to enable Australians to help her achieve her goal no matter how big or small their donation. And by doing so they also help to unlock more of Holly’s brilliant online dance.”
