SBS has invited its media and marketing agency Stenmark Organisation to bring its Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia offices in-house, completing SBS’ national media sales team.
The agency has partnered with the network for the past 24 years, with the NSW and Victoria advertising sales brought in-house in 2009 while Stenmark continued with the teams in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia offices.
Director of sales SBS Media, Andrew Cook, said: “After many years of working with the Stenmark organisation it is great to welcome their Queensland, South Australian and Western Australian teams into SBS Media. I look forward to the continuing the development of SBS Media as a fully national sales team.”
Cook said the agency’s senior management team of Damien Stenmark and Mike Fitzgerald have been instrumental in the long-term growth of SBS, and helped launch a number of initiatives including the commercial guidelines, signal splitting to interstate markets, and advertising within SBS programming.
Stenmark’s chairman and managing director Damien Stenmark said: “The unique position of SBS in the Australian media landscape has always required a tailored approach to media sales, which I am proud to say Stenmark has consistently delivered, with strong revenue results over a long period of time.”
