Seven’s imported drama Resurrection has dropped in its second week but the program which sees loved ones return from the dead still enthralled 1.547 million viewers.
The result is down on Resurrection’s local debut which saw the American drama pull in 1.911 million viewers and help the seven network to a huge combined 38.7% share of all free-to-air viewers.
This week My Kitchen Rules was back on top with 1.621 million viewers.
Seven’s took a total 34% share last night with 27.3% going to the network’s primary channel.
Nine’s The Big Bang Theory came second to Resurrection with the promised kiss between Sheldon and Amy bringing in 1.510 million viewers to the US sitcom.
The comedy pulled in more viewers than Nine’s reality play The Block: Fans v Faves which sat in fourth place last night with 1.415 million viewers.
Nine’s total share was 31.8% with 25.7% of that going to the network’s main channel.
Ten was in fourth place behind its commercial counterparts and the ABC. Ten sat on a combined 13.4% share with 9.3% going to the network’s primary channel.
The ABC was in third place on a combined 16.4% with 11.8% for ABC1.
SBS sat in last place on 4.3% with 3.6% going to SBS ONE.
