OMD takes out another Tabcorp pitch

OMD has won the paid search and social media account for Tabcorp, expanding its remit to now include all media communications of the betting giant.

The account, worth an estimated $2m, was won following a competitive pitch.

OMD already holds the TAB and Luxbet media strategy planning and buying business.

Sasha Hunt, head of digital marketing at Tabcorp, said: “OMD impressed us throughout the pitch process with their depth of online and social media capabilities. They demonstrated a genuine understanding of our customer base, coupled with a real rigour and passion to drive our growth in this space, we are very enthusiastic to be working with them.”
